Imagine yourself in your car, driving to.. whoever knows where you're going. Let's say a place, it doesn't matter where. Just a place. So you're in your car, driving to a place. Then suddenly you see a car coming up to you, fast, from the rear window and tried to overtake you. Honking like nobody's business, like the road is his. Coming in close, wanting to go to the lane you're in. You felt intense by it and allow the car to pass you. So, when the car has passed, you continue on to drive as you did before that incident happened.
In that scenario, have we ever wondered why the driver just did that? For what possible reason could it be? Was he in a hurry as he was late for a meeting? (We wonder..) We don't see the point of someone coming up to us and randomly wanting to get into an argument. I mean, why? Why do so? But what we didn't know is that perhaps the reason why he did the things he did because it was our own fault, in the first place? We could've been in the middle of the lane, for all we know, or we could've done something to the driver minutes ago that we didn't even notice it. Yeah, that is possible because when we analyse back the way things go, it might have been our fault. It might just be it.
So what I'm trying to say here is that, in any situation given, it doesn't matter if we were driving, walking, talking, or doing our daily routines, the things that happened gave us some sort of message for us to learn. Sometimes we make mistakes without even realising it. Things happened without us truly knowing it. When things happened or people react to what we do or say, it tend to give us second thoughts about things, like what did we do wrong to them, why did he react the way he did, why did he say such thing to us, are we not being truthful to them, are the issue sensitive and what not. It's really a never ending questions. A very troubled one indeed.
What we can do is to analyse if we did anything wrong in that situation. The things that we do afterwards, depends on the individual itself but whatever it is, we have to move on. Maybe after we say our sorry or learnt the lessons and what not. Because moving on doesn't mean we forget. It means we try not to repeat the same mistakes again. It doesn't do any good to us if we keep on thinking about it and not passing that phase because then, we wouldn't be able to go anywhere. Yup, move on and have a positive life. Keep ourselves on the positive side and keep on improving, day by day. Don't just say it, do it as well.
So yeah, in my case, what I'm trying to do here is to move on. Why think about the past with all those negativities and stay there when you can just move forward and be better. Should've done this a long time ago but, at least now I'm doing it and taking the first step towards positive. It might just open more doors of opportunities. Well who knows.
